The scales round everything down to the nearest kg and then they knocked off 1kg for plastic tubs which weigh much less....i rang up for quotes before I went and was told brass was £3.24 per kilo but I was paid out 2.41 and was quoted 6.27 and 6.07 for copper and was paid 4.50.. I wouldn't go again I would recommend finding a more honest yard.. I
