Rooms: Good variety of rooms, all big in the main house and a number with en suites. The en suites and rooms in the other 3 properties were more compact but still did the job. Noteworthy details: We had 3 dogs with us, all who do not normally live together. They stayed in different houses and had to be kept on the leads at all times outside as the sheep were in lamb, but it worked out fine.

We rented the whole place for a family gathering and it was very comfortable indeed. Warm in the very cold weather. Brilliantly equipped kitchen in the Manor which enabled us to cook for 21 people very easily. The swimming pool and games room were a real bonus. In spite of dreadful weather everyone had a fantastic time. Just be warned, it's 1400 feet above sea level and the weather can be very wild!
