I loved the idea, especially the way in which it is not fully on its perch - but... Before telling her the name of the work I asked my wife what she thought it was and she said "a dead cockrell". I was expecting a Norwegian blue!

It's a comical parrot statue on a plinth, in the free & open gardens of Devonport House. There are benches around it, so it is a nice area to come off the high street and sit away from the hubbub of Greenwich. It's a short walk to the Maritime Museum, Queens House, and the Royal Observatory from the statue.
