    Would score no points if I was able to. Disgraceful service from the service department - will not take my business to Monty’s in future & will have second thoughts about purchasing a Suzuki in future. Received a letter from Suzuki on 11 May stating my car had been recalled for ‘emergency work’. Scanned the QR code as advised & booked a morning appt for 17 May. I quickly received an email confirming receipt of the booking & information stating Suzuki Sheffield would contact me to confirm & advise of a time slot. On 12 May I had still not received a callback from Suzuki Sheffield so tried ringing several times. The phone never answered. 13 May - still no callback received. Left voicemail giving my information & requesting a call to confirm the booking. 15 May - still no callback! Rang again & spoke to a lady, who said it was not booked in but her colleague had a different system so he could have already booked it. She promised she would get him to ring me as soon as possible. 17 May - still no callback. I rang again at mid day as the car should have been with them that day & I still had had no contact from anyone. The phone was answered on my 3rd attempt & I was told the car was still not booked in. I arranged (again) for the work to be done, this time on the morning of 19 May. 18 May - took my car to Monty’s (Suzuki Sheffield) late afternoon ready for the work to be carried out the following morning. The lady I had previously spoken to informed me I would get a call when the job was completed. 19 May - Work was expected to take up to 3hr so I was expecting a call around mid day. At 1.45pm I rang for an update as I’d heard nothing - no reply. Rang 11 times & left 2 voicemails before then ringing the Sales department for them to help. The lady who answered the call was to tell the Service dept to call me immediately - I received a call 10 mins later (now after 3pm) from the lady I had dropped the car with. She blamed her colleague for not informing me that my car was ready. Upon collecting the car I was given no paperwork to prove what work had been done.

    I had been looking for a specific Vitara and saw one on Monty's web site. I held it with a deposit and then had a chat with a great sales exec' Jon. The cars history and spec was excellent and so I bought "from a distance" and then travelled up by train to collect the car. The car and Monty's and Jon didn't disappoint! The car was as excellent as they had described and competitively priced. All went well and Monty's even happily posted me a puncture kit a week later when I realised the car was missing one, and also paid for a software update to be done at my local dealer as it transpired my car was in need of one. I would absolutely recommend Monty’s – they are just so much better than other car dealers, and I’m pretty fussy! Worth the trip from Kent to Sheffield. I just wish my local dealer was as good!!

    Bought a 2nd hand car from here and was given 12 month warranty for ALL problems. After around 9 months, one of my buttons doesn't function properly and they refused to fix. The reason they gave was although the button is not working properly, it is still working🙃. Will never buy from this dealership again and not recommend this to anyone, especially when you are thinking about paying premium to get a car from a trusted dealership
