I’m a very big fan of Taaka tak. I always go to the original Hounslow restaurant or the hayes one. So I thought I’d try the Ealing one. BIG MISTAKE!! First of all for a new restaurant the place looked dirty, unorganised and dated. The staff had no clue or manners. Repeatedly got our order wrong. Being vegetarian and never eaten meat they served us chicken!!!! Luckily I asked or we couldn’t have put chicken in our mouths. And they had the nerve to charge us for it as well. Food was poor. Too much salt. Not enough spice and definitely not the normal Taaka tak standard. I mean I had to ask the lady 4 times for a glass of water! That’s just poor customer service. Then I was repeatedly asked by their manager for an online review. So here you go, this is my review I actually want my money back. What a disappointment

The food was outstandingly good (when it arrived) and probably the best Indian food on the road. One star knocked off for the slow service and the second due to the the lack of value for money. We went on a Saturday evening and it looked like the takeaways were being prioritised. Would go back again when we can afford to, but probably avoid a Sat night.
