Waited a month for a replacement fridge freezer. New 1 came damaged door and the shelf wedged in wrong so I can't get it out. Called them to get help and basically told there is nothing wrong to call someone else. It would be 0 🌟 if I could do it.

Shoddy plastic door handle broke. Can't get spares. Called manufacturer and endless dialogue menus. If you miss anything rhe first time they hang up. Avoid like the plague.

We purchased a new cooker from Currys made by this manufacturer Within a few months we experienced problems with the appliance namely a heat guard inside the top oven for the grill came off also at the bottom of the front of the cooker the white panel started to go rusty I contacted Currys and they automatically transferred me to the Montpelier warranty department I was shocked to be told by the operative that unless it was an electrical problem or a gas leak the rest of the cooker was not covered by warranty which I found unbelievable I contacted the company directly and the lady on the phone instructed me to send photographs of the said problem It is almost 6 months since I did this and I have had no reply or response from Montpelier My advice is to never purchase from this company the products are shoddy poorly made second-rate goods with virtually no warranty offered I should have gone to trading standards now I feel I just want to scrap this shoddy appliance and buy a quality product like I should have done originally I am now going to put this in the hands of trading standards this company needs to be sorted 😡

Dear all potential buyers of Montpelier. I have not come across a company that is so unhelpful and impotent in the after sales department as this one.The cooker we bought was a MR91 GOK 90cm gas range. It had a two year warranty. During the months it was used, the cooking of food in the oven was adequate, but far from satisfactory. Finally I decided to take two separate internal readings for the oven, it read 120 C, at this point, the oven dial was set at 180 C. This was for a period of half an hour. Clearly there was a substantial discrepancy in the readings. It took literally 5 hours to bake potatoes, even browning food was a big problem. In" hindsight "I should have contacted them much earlier. Still, they would not have come out, being classed as a commercial establishment. We are a special needs care home in the Scottish borders and wanted a cooker that was large, but not commercial, as costs for these cooker's maintenance are much higher. As this was a small family/assisted living run establishment, it was assumed the domesticated environment would be looked upon as such. I contacted "Appliances direct" where it was bought from, where they did try to help, however the final decision came from "Montpelier" not to help. It has taken a lot of time and effort to get some help for our "special residents" who deserve better treatment than they have been given It seems to me once one has parted with hard earned money, there is little, or in this case, no intervention from" a "reputable" company such as Montepelier" Shameful company behaviour, I would much rather have praised the company on their behalf. Bought an oven and hob from Montpellier. The hob failed after less than 2 years and the replacement hob lasted less than 1 year. Asked them to fix the new hob given that it failed so quickly, but they refused as it was out of the 2 year warranty period.

This company's customer service is non existent. When my washing machine developed a major fault after only 9 months i discovered they had no authorized repairers in my area. so then i was told by the sales person she would have to speak to management about a new replacement and that was the last I heard from them. i finished up going back to the retailers for a refund as i wasn't happy about no local authorized engineer and not hearing back from them. i felt sorry for the retailer as Montpellier were not honoring their warranty. I was also told y e-mail the item was made in Italy when in fact it was made in China. Don't touch with a barge pole springs to mind.

SAME PROBLEM AROSE 6 MONTHS LATER , ENGINEER CAME OUT VERY QUICKLY......NEEDED TO ORDER A PART.......STILL WAITING WEEKS LATER AND THE PARTS DEPARTMENT APPARENTLY DONT HAVE A CONTACT NUMBER.......REALLY?????
