It's been 3 months since our little girl started the nursery. She is in the baby's room and she is very happy to go now. As a mother, I could not have chosen better than Busy Bees , the staff is really good, the kids do a lot of different activities that stimulate their curiosity and confidence. The first days , even weeks are always difficult and stressful for parents, the separation with baby, the guilt etc... Thanks to the kindness and professionalism of the staff, these period hasn't last long and I now can see how much my little girl loves being at the nursery. Not to forget that she eats really well there. Again, thanks to all the staff, you are great!

My child has been attending preschool for over 2 months now and I am very pleased with his experience and progress thus far. The setting is pleasantly very big for a preschool consisting of 3 well designed areas to support their learning and development. The main room consists of many child led activities, an inviting reading area and my favourite, the self help cleaning table where he has learnt to wash his hands. At home if his hands are dirty he will come to tell me he needs to wash it instead of just wiping it or ignoring that it’s dirty - a dream! The second room is very sensory friendly with a turf tray and water play. My child loves water play and this is encouraged and promoted by the staff when he is in which is what I appreciate. It’s lovely to see that his interests are considered in planning and met every time he attends. Since attending preschool, my child has grown so much in confidence and is willing to try new things. The staff regularly update the parent zone app through out the day - meal time, nappy changes, pictures and comments about what he has been doing. This is very reassuring as a parent. The staff are friendly and polite and have always shown a genuine interest in my child’s development. They’re willing to listen and share their expertise and work together. Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work and for dozens of cards you make with my child for all the special occasions! 😊 ❤️ Great place to be!

We couldn’t love this nursery more. Our daughter is so happy there that when we walk by on the weekend she cries as she wants to go. The staff in the baby room is amazing and they are helping our little girl to be curious and discover the world. Its scary to leave your kid all day but the staff feels like family and we are so confident to leave her every day. To all the staff, thank you for taking such a good care of our girl.

I would advise any parent considering this nursery/school to think again. We were told 2 weeks before our daughter was due to start a full-time nursery place (in Sep 2017) that there was no longer a place available - for any days at all either in Wapping Lane or over the road in Cannon Street Road. This was despite us having signed up for a place 6 months prior where we also registered a significant deposit to hold our place. It came as a particular shock to us because our older son had gone to this nursery (both Cannon Street and Wapping Lane) for four happy years. So we had (or thought we had) an excellent relationship with the nursery school. The school even uses a testimonial from my wife saying what a great place it is! The difference between our experience now and then may be down to the fact that the nursery is under new ownership (Mace acquired the nursery in the period between my son leaving and my daughter being due to start) or it may be just that we were lucky the first time. Either way, it was an incredibly stressful experience having to scramble around to find another London nursery that we were happy with at such short notice. What made us even more upset was the way Green Gables handled the news to us: there were no apologies was no acknowledgement that this was bad practice and no attempts to help us out by at least offering us a couple of days per week rather than the contractually agreed 5, or shuffling things around to offer us a full-time place later in the year, etc. We also had to make a “small claims” complaint to (eventually) get our deposit back. I really would not want any other parent to have to go through what we did.
