    Excellent hotel! Really central location with a train station a few blocks away. 24/7 room service. Staff was incredibly nice and attentive, especially Lawrence who helped with our bags after checking out.

    (Translated by Google) We stayed there for 4 nights. Unfortunately, the room request didn't work out, although we had asked for it in writing beforehand. It is at most a 3 star hotel, definitely not 5 stars! The room has an old, musty carpet. The air conditioning cooled the room down to 13 degrees and could not be controlled. It was very cold at night and we don't feel that our complaint was taken seriously. The air conditioning was just broken, sometimes 25 degrees, then again 13 degrees! On the third day we were offered a new, small room, 24 hours before departure. The breakfast was varied, but more mass than class! There was no tablecloth, no spoons for the coffee, only wooden sticks, no saucers. The staff was completely uninterested. The lobby is completely crowded, not particularly friendly either. The location is not good either. It is relatively far and cumbersome to get to the center. Unfortunately, the hotel employee who wanted to take care of us personally was only there for one day and was then no longer available. To date, the hotel has not commented on our problem. I would not go there again, for the shabby standard also much too expensive! (Original) Wir waren für 4 Nächte dort. Leider hat es nicht mit dem Zimmerwunsch geklappt, obwohl vorher schriftlich darum gebeten. Es ist höchstens ein 3 Sterne Hotel, auf keinen Fall 5 Sterne! Das Zimmer hat einen alten, muffigen Teppichboden. Die Klimaanlage hat das Zimmer bis auf 13 Grad abgekühlt und ließ sich nicht steuern. Es war Nachts sehr kalt und wir fühlen uns mit unserer Beschwerde nicht ernst genommen. Die Klimaanlage war einfach defekt, mal 25 Grad, dann wieder 13 Grad! Am 3. Tag hat man uns dann ein neues kleines Zimmer angeboten, 24 Stunden vor Abreise. Das Frühstück war vielfältig, aber mehr Masse als Klasse! Es gab keine Tischdecke, keine Löffel für den Kaffee, nur Holzstäbe, keine Untertassen. Das Personal war komplett uninteressiert. Die Lobby ist komplett überfüllt, auch nicht besonders freundlich. Die Lage ist auch nicht günstig. Es ist doch relativ weit und umständlich ins Zentrum zu kommen. Die Hotelmitarbeiterin welche sich persönlich um uns kümmern wollte war leider nur an einem Tag da und war dann nicht mehr erreichbar. Bis heute hat sich das Hotel noch nicht zu unserer Problematik geäußert. Ich würde nicht mehr dort hin fahren, für den abgewohnten Standard auch viel zu teuer!

    Well worth the price. The location, the rooms, the amenities and the service were all top notch. The service from when you check in to check out, the attention to detail by house keeping and the breakfast service were all top notch. The shower and the heated floors in the bathroom made me want a similiar setup at my home as well. I do have 2 requests that I hope you take into consideration : 1) The breakfast - Its easy to see that the breakfast staff for the hot kitchen are under a lot of stress given the large number of orders in a short time. Some way to streamline the process of placing orders for custom dishes would help. Also, if there could be some variety in the hot dishes. It does get a tad repetitive over a long stay. I have to call out that the service and the food were top notch through out 2) Swimming pool rules - If you can extend the timings when kids can be in the pool. Families return after 7 pm by when the pool and the Jacuzzi are closed for the kids

    Wrapping up a 6 night stay at Montcalm East in Shoreditch. Where do I begin. Check in process was very smooth. Hotel is contemporary with nice facilities throughout. High floor rooms have excellent views (I was in 1710, highly recommend). The spa is also very nice. Great sauna, steam room, pool and hot tub. Staff there were great. Hotel location was perfect for me. Walking distance to so many restaurants and stores. Also very close to Hackney if you are interested in the bar/club scene. Ubers were 10-15 mins to most venues I visited. The front desk staff are all very welcoming. Mohammed in particular made sure I was taken care of throughout the stay. Concierge staff Lawrente, Sami and Andrei went above and beyond to make the stay smooth. I made 10 or so requests for ice in particular and they were always so helpful. Also made great recommendations for food and things to do around the city. Bartender Finn did a great job taking care of me and other guests. The bar is really nice with some excellent drinks. Highly recommend this hotel for the nice facilities, but more so the great staff. Will be back soon!
