I am involved with Tracksmith next door, and every Sunday morning lately I’d been dreaming of the green Chiltern sunglasses . But you are currently closed on Sundays. I’ve so many pairs of sunnies, and have not spent so much on a pair since a very old pair of Cutler & Gross back in the 90s. Today I took the plunge. Great interior , and even better service and from a fellow Glaswegian. Stars aligning or what? Detailed and friendly advice, and a different lens fit. Very happy, but please don’t put anything so attractive in your window for at least a couple of months….

Not only is the store extremely well-curated ( their visuals and the interior are simply clever), but also the guy was really a plus in the shopping experience. He explained the history and the culture of the brand in such a passionate way and he was very helpful in recommending the right pair of sunglasses. Their sunglasses are not only cool but hey are also 100% made in the Uk with carefully selected materials. Totally worth the price!

While I was walking by Chiltern street, I saw this beautifully designed eyewear shop and went in just to see out of curiosity. I love eye glasses but I never had plans of buying at that point. Freddie and I struck a wonderful conversation about the story of how MONC started ,what they stand for and saw a beautiful collection of bio-acetate glasses with various range of colours. I instantly fell in love with the glasses and took home a bottle green Kallio. Freddie also gave me the lovely green tote bag as a gift too. I look forward to get many more glasses in the future. I thoroughly recommend MONC

I opted for the Kallio and also purchased the clip on sun glasses. I feel like I have something very unique and different. I really like supporting small businesses and I hope they continue to grow! The store on Chiltern Street is beautiful and well thought out. The décoré is aligned with their mission and it tells an amazing story.
