Authentic, tasty and well rounded Japanese food in a laid back surrounding. I have no qualms with the food, I’ll be back here to consume a lot more! What let’s this place down to not achieve a 5 star rating for me is that the service is very slow - massive wait times between the starter and the main, and having to call the wait staff over if you need anything. But the food itself is worth coming for alone, despite these issues. The sushi, unlike other restaurants of this kind, keeps it simple. No fancy ingredients that aren’t authentic to the real deal, just plain, to the point food that hits the spot.

Went here during lunchtime on a weekday. The atmosphere was clean and nice. The service was so slow despite the restaurant being empty. The food took ages and when it came there were parts missing - eg rice. Also we didn’t have cutlery for ages despite food being served on the table. The pork Katsu was really dry. Portion sizes were value for the price. The food presentation was nice but I definitely wouldn’t come back here ever for reasons above. Although they apologized for the poor service and offered a free rice (?) I was so disappointed as saw the great reviews and something local.

Ordered a few times. It's a hit or miss. It should be a hit every time considering the steep prices. Thy have really good salmon sashimi but the miso soup could be improved on.
