An all round amazing brunch experience. Sometimes I feel that the title of ‘best spot for …’ gets thrown around a lot but I have no doubt that this place really is the best brunch spot in Brighton. The staff are friendly but what really stood out was the meticulous attention to food. They use genuine quality ingredients and you can really taste the difference. The yolks on the eggs are very deep in colour and the shape of the poached egg indicates that they are very fresh. I ordered the Moshka Breakfast (equivalent of full English) and my partner ordered the bit breakfast (same as mine but with the addition of hash browns and black pudding. The hash browns are a must order. I can see why they are so famous. The potato is grated finely then shaped and freshly deep fried for a nice crispy outer texture. My other favourite of the meal was the homemade baked beans that came with the breakfast. While I can imagine it must be convenient for cafes to use canned versions, this homemade baked beans were so flavourful. It’s not usually the star of a full English for me but it was total standout amongst a really good plate of food. I highly recommend Moshka Caffe as your next brunch destination. I certainly will be back when I’m next in Brighton.
