Terrible website. I ordered a window of 1725 x1300 and needed add ons. As you would expect add ons are additional to the window as they cost more money. The window arrived with add ons to make the size of the 1725 x 1300 which ended up more expensive than ordering a window of 1726 x 1300. Terrible customer service and no real valid answer other than add ons included in frame size. Use another company if I was you if you want add ons

I bought oak acoustic windows and doors for a large garden studio I’ve built - not been massively impressed with the quality or design of the doors given the cost - there are some parts of the door which you don’t touch when fabricated which don’t look perfect. The bulk of my problems are with the beading once the glass was in place (the edges of the beading look like it’s been cut with a bread knife). I refitted pieces exactly how there were removed labelling top, left, right, bottom. Hinge adjustment has been difficult snapping brittle caps. Instructions non existent and online videos are really poor not showing any real detail for example they don’t explain hinge adjustment just show you how to access the hinge Allen bolts, not raise, lower, or in tandem or align French doors to lock together. I got resolution to the issues that today and the conversation in fairness were really helpful. It’s such a shame as I wanted these to be perfect but they didn’t comment cold weather makes everything that bit harder (I agree). They look good granted when fitted but incredibly fiddly with easily broken fittings. That said the support is very good.

Have to say this was a fantastic service from start to finish. Price was the best I could find but the service, speed of response and general communication could not be faulted or possibly even bettered. Delivery expectations met and I was kept fully informed along the way. Sometimes cheaper does not mean better, but in terms of quality and service I was pleasantly surprised. Also sent some additional fittings when the originals went missing and it was no problem at all. Thank you Modern UPVC windows, I will be sure to recommend you.
