This shop exemplifies the ideals of customer service, enjoying your work, and going the extra mile to make things better than they started out. I purchased a Tamiya Monster Beetle RC Kit from the, with all the required add-ons, to build for my son. Upon completing the build, I discovered the RC Car suffered from a known problem in the rear differential. Model Junction's staff helped me fix the problem (as seen in the photos), as we tore the rear apart together, applied a fix found on the internet, put it back together, and tested it out... all on their counter after I shortly stepped into the store. That is simply fantastic customer service and knowledge. Go check out their store if you haven't already. It is worth the trip. Sadly, your wallet might take a hit as some models aren't cheap, but that isn't their fault. Their prices reflect the current internet price or are very close to it. I liked this place so much I purchased another kit so I could race along with my son's Monster Beetle.

A true gem to have in Bury St Edmunds, small enough to feel homely, large enough to get happily lost in amongst thousands of models, tools, paints and nik naks. I've always been greeted with a warm welcome and staff are always willing to chat, help and guide newbies and old hands alike ( I've been using this fantastic little shop since I was 12 and I'm nearly 57 now). Love what you do and how you go about it!! Well done to all the staff in Model junction.
