I'm unable to comment on bedrooms as we only popped in for afternoon tea. The small drive to the hall has beautifully kept gardens, and the front of the hall itself is absolutely stunning. We asked to be seated outside as it was a lovely day and was promptly greeted by a young gentleman who set our table and then 15 minutes later brought our afternoon tea. What a delight, my husband, who has a sweet tooth, loved it all, especially the cakes, as did I. Although there doesn't seem much on the photo, we were both sufficiently fulfilled. We will certainly go again to try the brasserie menu.

A wonderful environment for some rest and relaxation. Just driving up to it makes you feel good. Rooms are not very large, but newly renovated and very comfortable. The common room, with a fireplace, looks exactly the way it should look like in an English country manor. The only thing one might want to keep in mind: both for dinner and for breakfast, we waited quite a while for our food. Not ideal if you are dead tired after traveling, or have an appointment you would like to be on time for.
