I can only relay my personal experience of Mitchell Mazda based at Cheshire Oaks. I would never place any business with them again. I bought a Blue CX-5 in good faith based on all the assurances of the salesman. Everything presented very well at the dealership. The vehicle was not ready when we travelled a considerable distance to collect it even though I had sent a confirmation request days prior. There were quite a few cosmetic issues and it was delivered on one occasion with the electric wing mirrors not working. Finally in my possession there were two disconcerting mechanical noises. Mitchells agreed to look into them by taking the vehicle back to Chester “again”. I spent £24999 on buying this vehicle, during the two months since I made the purchase the vehicle had spent more time with Mitchell Mazda than with me. At this point I requested a full refund and return of the vehicle. Whilst liaising with management to return the vehicle I was told I had to lose £1499 which represents the difference between the price I paid and the amount Mitchell Mazda were prepared to pay me for the vehicle. I have owned cars for over forty years and know there are minor defects when buying a used car however there were significant issues requiring attention along with mechanical fault(s). My trust in them had gone, in effect cost me was £1499 to return it. The vehicle now stand in their stock at the same price I paid plus they have an additional £1499. I can only relay my experience but hope it helps you. As a customer I have no faith in this dealership and feel I have been wronged. I hope Mitchell Mazda re-assess this and in order to achieve a favourable outcome refund me the total amount paid.
