Hi. Walking from hamstreet and needing refreshments for return journey. Passed the tea room , but we were covered in mud so turned back. The owner called to ask if she could assist , but said we to muddy. What resulted in was the most impeccable service, chairs dried , cushions in place. Offered fresh made sausage rolls , quiche , pastie or lasagne. We both took the lasagne and sausage roll. Perfect, tastey, and delicious. Booking a Hi tea , in june for a treat. A must try 👌 in every way.

Absolutely lovely tearoom with a wonderful interior - love all the quotes around the room and the decor, very cosy. Tea served in lovely fine china mugs and our waitress was very attentive and friendly, as was the owner (Carly I think). Great selection of tea, cakes, scones etc and the victoria sponge was delicious. Will return soon - thank you😊

What a recommendation! The room is so nice! And if you want to experience afternoon tea as only the English can then go here. We came in without a reservation. for afternoon tea you normally have to make a reservation because it is really all freshly prepared and the owner takes a lot of preparation time. Yet she did all this for us to make our first experience with England unforgettable for us and our children. And how delicious it was! This is how food should be. Fresh and made with love for food and customers. thanks!
