I popped in today and came away with the most perfect skirt , top and cardigan, in a beautiful fabric and cut . It wasn’t even on the shop floor as Martine was still steaming it to go out ! Thank you Martine ,a lovely collection of beautifully curated items , you have such a good eye ! Sadly I won’t be around for your pre Christmas festivities but I will be back soon .

I bought my wedding dress three years before my wedding, had to postpone twice, got through covid with a lot of weight changes, and Martine and her daughter Francesca managed to sort the dress and my nerves with ease! I had purchased my wedding dress from a store in Tunbridge Wells and they had recommended Martine and Fran to have my dress altered. Now my dress didn't need much altering other than taking up...thankfully! I had contacted them last minute and even though they were already busy for the wedding season they squeezed me in and not just took my dress up but managed to alter it in some parts that I hadn't even noticed needed doing until they spotted it. All visits they made me feel beautiful and special and didn't rush me at all. I didn't want to take my dress off as I knew it would be ages before I got to wear it again and they were so patient with me. Fran then arranged with me to steam my dress and veil which she had hand made to perfection. Can't thank these wonderful ladies enough for making my beautiful dress fit me perfectly. These lovely ladies are fantastic, I took my wedding dress to them ( a size 12) and they were able to adjust it to a size 8 and take about 6 inches off the length too. They knew what I needed before I even knew what to ask, they fitting Boning into the corset of the dress for support, a tie in the back of the dress to lift the train for dancing and attached a wrist ribbon again to aid dancing! No request was too small and they were happy to oblige in any minor adjustment to make me more comfortable. Additionally they also made me feel like an absolute princess every time I visited!
