I took my best friend to get her wedding dress and whilst at first had a lovely experience, she felt incredibly body shamed when we went for a final try-on. She had signed the form to say she would stay the same weight so that she could fit into her dress once it was tailored etc. but at the final fitting, one of the women told her she’d put weight on in the most blunt tone and said the dress probably wouldn’t fit. I understand that she had signed the form, but she had been so stressed about this, and is also recovering from an eating disorder so this was INCREDIBLY damaging. Rather than letting her try the dress on carefully to see if it still fit, they weighed and measured her, told her she’d put something tiny like 2 inches on around her waist and then told her it probably wouldn’t fit anymore, despite them knowing this was a week away from her wedding so that statement was going to cause immense stress. When they finally let her try the dress on, it fit absolutely perfectly, so all the rude comments, weighing her in front of multiple people and completely embarrassing her and causing her so much anxiety, wasn’t necessary because the dress fit absolutely perfectly. All of that could’ve been avoided if she was able to try the dress on carefully first off, rather than a long process of what felt like her getting shamed for only putting on something like 2 inches round her waist.

I cannot recommend Miss Bush Bridal enough. My favourite thing about the dress-shopping experience was the lack of pressure - the whole process was a conversation and it never felt as if I was being forced to do anything that made me uncomfortable. It was also great to just try things on that were way out of my comfort zone, even just to rule things out! The whole experience just felt easy and natural. The team at Miss Bush kindly allowed me to come back for another fitting when I wasn't sure if I wanted to wear a bra with the dress for extra support and that totally put me at ease. They were also amazing in fitting around my schedule, with me living in Toronto and only being in the UK certain dates. I felt like a queen in Amerie by Suzanne Neville and have amazing memories of the dress shopping experience.

The whole team at Miss Bush made me feel instantly comfortable and like I was in good hands. The setting, in the chapel, was so unique and special and the team is so experienced. Corinne really worked with me to understand what I liked, what suited me and what and felt comfortable in to suggest different combinations and styles and make sure I ended up with the perfect dress for me. And beyond the initial dress selection, the whole team are so supportive and patient through the fitting process, every time I came back to the chapel for a fitting it felt like a treat! I would highly recommend Miss Bush to anyone.

Absolutely superb! From the moment I stepped foot in Miss Bush I knew I would find my dress! Emma was amazing when I was trying on different styles and we had an honest discussion about what worked/didn't. The Suzanne Neville dress I chose was very me and I absolutely adored it! The whole process of buying the dress was faultless and I loved all my appointments and subsequent fittings/stylings with Jo who was amazing! Communication was super clear throughout and any questions I had were promptly answered by Rosie and the team. I can't thank them enough - would definitely recommend!
