After a long walk around the shops a relative and I wanted a light Japanese meal and passed Miso. It’s not a big on the ground floor but it was pleasant and calm and perfect for a light meal. My go to light meal is tempura and this did not disappoint. The tempura pieces were light and crispy! As spring rolls go these were delicious as was the dipping sauces. My relative had a vegetarian meal and declared it delicious. Afterwards we had cups of jasmine tea. Would definitely go to Miso again as the salads and bento boxes looks really appetising.

My Gyuso were good. Sure they were probably just defrosted and fried, but that did the job. My duck in Udon noodles were grim. The duck was fatty (more than usual), the Udon were ok, but the sauce was not much more than a splash of Soy Sauce. I do better than that at home. Dessert was crumble and custard, hot crumble but cold custard, er.... No . Staff rather too keen to whisk our plates away. Why? It was midweek and the place was certainly not crowded. All these issues can be easily solved. Come on Miso, you can do it.

The food bangs EVERY SINGLE TIME 👏🏻 This is an amazing restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and fantastic flavours. I recently had duck soup noodles in broth with chicken gyoza as a side dish and it tasted so good!! Perfect place for East & Southeast Asian food

I used to enjoy the beef salad at miso but my visit on bank holiday monday was disappointing! The salad dressing wasn't right and the beef was a bit burnt. In these difficult times I would have thought that the restaurant would make an effort to maintain customers. Don't think I will be in a rush to go back!
