Visited here on Sunday with my husband. We bought two hanging baskets and a Lavender pot along with some wild bird food. We had drinks and a bite to eat in the restaurant and sat outside in the sun on the decking. Not too busy & we enjoyed our visit.

We wanted some lunch after watching the Coronation of King Charles on the television , which was amazing. The cafe was surprisingly quiet so we found a table and were tempted by the Coronation afternoon tea, which looked delicious and, comparatively, reasonably priced at £25 for two. We plumped for a "lighter" Scampi meal and a prawn marie rose jacket potato. The scampi meal was really good... but I would not recommend the jacket potato which was 3rd degree burnt and unpalatable; and the "coleslaw" consisted of very large, hard lumps of cabbage and red onion with grated carrot... perhaps the grater broke using the carrots??? I won't risk either the jackets or the coleslaw again... but the rest of the visit was great.
