It is extemely disheartening to see all these 5-star reviews, as I had an absolutely nightmare with Mirandus working on the first two years of accounts when I started my limited company. It honestly made me lose faith in humanity the that way Rusksana felt it was ok to neglect my accounts. It's a long list: -she had to do my first years account 4 times because she would not read my emails in detail and I had to keep pointing out that she forget things (I'm a detailed oriented person, and accounting requires details! My business is also extremely simple); -she didn't want to take time to answer any questions I had, instead just saying things like 'oh that's just a due to accounting rounding', or just ignoring them. I later find out that these really simple questions, now having accountants that take that time to answer everything in details; -she would make change to my accounting system in a way that is convenient for her, even though it did not make sense for me and without asking me - like making my end of year accounting date suit her instead of what I ended it to be; -it took until almost the end of the second year her to even register me as an employer so I can get paid a director salary! - and I had to be the one to remind her, when this should have been done right when I accounted them as my accountants; -she was late responding to HMRC letters (I got fined for a late reply, which she then sorted - but that shouldn't have happened in the first place); -she gave me the wrong tax reference for paying HMRC, so it looked like my taxes were overdue (which I figured out myself); -after paying a couple hundred pounds for an accountant letter for a visa application (which I didn't use in the end, because my accounts were so messed up because of her, and could not be used), she was petty enough to mail the letter without a stamp, so I had to pay for postage, and with the risk that I wouldn't even get the letter if I didn't take the chance and go to the post office to see what mail I had received. If they try to deny of the above, I'm happy to take next steps. The only decent things to say, is that once Shaima started working on my accounts, it was much smoother. And the newsletter they send is useful. But ultimately, you need to trust your accountant, and she gained zero trust or respect from me. Don't take the risk of being an account that they neglect and mishandle for no reason - I'd recommend getting an accountant that is part of ICEAW to ensure this doesn't happen to you.
