A company that is not transparent to their clients. We asked a few time about how much the third party is paying but all they said is they are not getting commission from our case and the valuation they give us what they think is right for our case. We wanted a transparency since we are the client we should be the one telling solicitors their percentage from our claim but in our case we are only given valuation that is unacceptable on our part. So no I do not recommend this company. I would avoid this company if you want transparency of your case or else you will be offered something else while they get something else.

Case no. 56385A Please read this review before considering using minster law, sorry it’s long winded. Claim started last July, third party admitted liability that day etc. Minster seemed promising at first, physio was booked for me quickly and doctors report, all complete by December 22. Minster sent me a rundown of what they would be claiming on my behalf, I was happy with it and then the problems started. I sent all of the evidence for my losses with work but as I’m agency and have different hours every week there wasn’t enough evidence, I was fine for them not to add the few hundred pounds and told them this from the off set but it took minster law until start of March, to decide not to add them, 3 months! They then proceeding to submitting my claim to the third party and negotiations then started. During this process it was always me chasing minster for updates and not them keeping me up to date. We finally came to an agreed figure for my compensation and minster then went back to claim the physio costs on top. I then receive an update (after me phoning them) that the third party had deleted my claim!? Of course I am going out of my mind and no one could explain to me what was happening. First I’m told my minster they don’t what has happened? Then I’m told the third party are disputing the claim. I was passed from team to team, information not being passed on properly so no one was none the wiser. Then, after about 5 weeks, (it took minster 3/4 weeks just to make a phone call to find out why my claim had disappeared, you would think they would want to find out straight away?) I finally ended up with another team and the lady I spoke to sounded promising, I finally thought my claim would be settled soon. The dispute was actually related to my physio sessions as I had a number of physiotherapist’s throughout and there wasn’t documentation supporting this. Minster knew this about 4 weeks ago. Last week on speaking to minster the third party had asked for another week to review the physio docs, which she said yes. She did ask if she would like to serve notice but advised against it and to give them the week. Today, I receive an email off her team member to say the third party person dealing with it has now left company so will have to wait again!! As they were only supposed to be given a week and the fact the case has taken so long already you would think minster law would try and do something to speed it up etc. But no, I spoke to the team member, who didn’t seem to have much idea about the case and the original one I spoke to is on sick leave (of course I know that can’t be helped) but I got the impression that minster will now take a back seat and just wait for a response from the third party, rather than doing anything about it. As they have done all along to be honest. They won’t chase things up for you, they don’t seem to like making phone calls and would rather email, but that is no good to someone who doesn’t understand law and the words used. I’ve just hit brick wall after brick wall throughout. I’m completely stressed about it all as we are coming up to nearly a year for a rather straightforward claim. My anxiety is through the roof. One lady I spoke to on the phone, when I asked is there something I can do or someone I can phone to try and sort things myself, she said no as we are your representatives and as I said to her it doesn’t feel like that this past 5 months. It’s completely draining me and I feel minster law are not fighting this case for me as they should be. They seem so laxy dazy with things and nothing will get sorted even remotely quickly. I feel not only are the third party against me but also minster law who are supposed to be representing me.

I had almost given up hope with minster law after 6years but things moved on when Natalie Mason took over my sons case. She kept me informed every step of the way and actually cared. I spoke to her on the phone just before going to court and she was very reassuring. My son got the settlement he deserved and I’m so relieved it’s all over now. Thanks Natalie.

11653A - Minster law have been dealing with my claim for the past 2 years, I have been trying to get an update since march no reply, sent 3 messages via the contact us and 2 via my portal and all ignored, emails bounce back to case handler as looks like they have left as well. I'm my 4th case handler and there is no notification when this happens I only find out when i can get through. Newest one since march has not even called email with any update. Can never get through to them on the phone. Currently on hold at 24 minutes. Would not recommend. If you see this and would like to call please do!

Avoid at all costs, absolute monkeys who can’t even listen to what’s being said to them, been waiting months for a medical report to come through which has been returned 3 times with the date of birth wrong, how can you get it wrong 3 times !? I’ve requested a call back more times than 30 times to just be ignored and spending hours a day sitting on call waiting to be answered, but rest assured the team will eventually promise you everything will be sorted to just continue ignoring you, total lack of work ethic and respect, by far the most shocking experience I’ve had with an insurance claim
