FAQ

What types of riding disciplines are offered at your equestrian club?

We do not offer traditional riding disciplines at our equestrian club as we specialize in using miniature Shetland therapy ponies for therapeutic purposes. Our ponies are trained to provide emotional support and comfort to children and adults in hospitals, nursing homes, and other care facilities.

Are there age or experience restrictions for joining the club or participating in lessons and events?

As we are not a traditional equestrian club, there are no age or experience restrictions for joining our organization. However, we do require all volunteers to undergo training and certification before working with our therapy ponies.

What types of facilities and equipment does your club offer for riders?

As our focus is on therapy work rather than riding, we do not offer traditional equestrian facilities or equipment. Our ponies are trained to be comfortable in a variety of environments and are able to work in a wide range of settings.

Are there opportunities for members to compete in shows or events hosted by the club?

As a therapy organization, we do not host traditional horse shows or events. However, we do participate in events and activities that promote the use of therapy animals and the benefits they provide.

What measures does the club take to ensure the safety and well-being of both riders and horses?

As our ponies work in therapeutic settings, their safety and well-being is our top priority. We take great care to ensure that our ponies are healthy, well-trained, and comfortable in any environment. Our volunteers are also trained to provide the highest level of care and attention to both the ponies and the individuals they are working with.

For those wanting a great rural experience here is a place for you This business which has opened only very recently offers an expanding range of activities The staff are brilliant and bend over backward to help advise and entertain their guests, the venue is a little disorganized but it is still very new As their range and services develop I can only see this going from strength to strength They even offer to sell some of their animals to the guests we were very tempted by a baby bunny 🐰 Parking here was a little awkward due to how you drive into the venue but it's very minor so low-booked occasions I wish you all the greatest success
