Every prospective parent/carer should do this course, even if just for peace of mind when an accident occurs! Lorraine is a fantastic trainer who was able to make the session feel fun as well as informative. The course covered a range of topics including CPR, burns, bleeding, choking and more for babies and children up to age 18. You also have chance to practice on a dummy and can buy useful items such as a comprehensive first aid kit at the end. I could not recommend this course or the Mini First Aid kit enough.

Mini first aid by Lorraine was amazing. I am expecting and it was for my new baby however I have a niece and nephew of 7&9 and I feel ashamed I didn’t know what was so easily taught in this two hour session, I’d like to sign up my father and mother as grandparents as there’s plenty we are all doing that isn’t quite what we should. Lorraine is engaging, funny and matter of fact. She has a perfect balance between enough information to be fully informative without skimping on the detail and not treating it like a primary school lesson. She covered a lot in a little space of time and this kept you engaged and full of new information, all of which I jotted down as it was invaluable not just woffle around the same point for 10mins. It covers the main inquiries and I am one for questions but was left with non. She also went through helpful apps so you left armed with trusted sources too. Having her own children’s little accident tales also made it very practice and realistic rather than just theory. Completely exceeded expectations and would highly recommend to anyone, often. I’ll definitely refresh in a year or so.

Our NCT mommies group felt like we wanted a first aid course as we navigated feeding solids. Fear of choking was at the forefront of all our minds and just general first aid/CPR to help us feel more confident should we ever need it. We contacted mini first aid Birmingham. Communication from start to finish was excellent and Lorraine our trainer was just brilliant. Lorraine came to our home, made our session completely fun but informative and was just generally worth every penny. We all left feeling confident we’d know what to do should a situation arise. My partner & I attended a 2hr baby/child first aid class via Zoom with Lorraine. Lorraine is a genuinely first-class trainer. She clearly knows her stuff, doing a fantastic job of blending the key class info with top tips & examples from her own experiences to further bring the topic to life. On booking a first aid course I was expecting to find it slightly dull, but Lorraine made the session really engaging, leaving us both motivated and more confident on how to approach situations that may arise. I would now feel confident to know what to do in emergency situations and anyone who is looking after babies/little ones should take two hours out of their day to attend this course!

As Foster Carers we have to do a lot of training including refresher courses which this one was. As a result it’s easy to become jaded by hearing what you’ve heard before. But Lorraine’s course was different. The two hours were informative, fun and went all too quickly ! She has an ability to give you insights as to the reason behind things and to our surprise we learnt several things that 3 courses before hadn’t mentioned It’s worth doing this or any other course she’s doing
