What an experience. The food truly is fresh. The chef is making it all to order and the quality shows. We had the Georgian Meze starter full of things I had never tried, the flavours were fantastic and new to me. Dumplings are a must, simply a must. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. Owner took the time to come round and explain and about the beautiful decor and dishes. Clearly passionate about his craft.

Came at almost empty restaurant on Saturday, ordered shashlik and khinkali as mains. Waited for more than 1,5 hours and got this in the end: tasteless shapeless khinkali (look at the photo) and over salted shashlik impossible to sense notes of meat. I would suggest the owner to talk to chef.

I went into this restaurant with high hopes as I'm a big fan of gorgian food. These hopes slightly fell as I checked the owners replys to 1 star reveiws. And as a peice of advice towards the owner I would say that the costumer is always right no matter what they say about mice or attitude it DOESNT MATTER. You should always turn the other cheek. Now , on to the restaurant I walked in and was overwhelmed with the silent gloomy setting , but as it started to get busier , it got better. ON TO THE FOOD. i first had the Georgian pizza , with cheese. It was delicious. Then I had the Georgian pizza with cheese and egg. Which was noticably worse as the egg was raw and made everything cold and soggy. The Georgian pelemeni made me feel sick. I have an nut allergy and I made that clear to the waiter multiple times. The inside of my mouth started swelling up and I stopped eating before it escalated. Well that wasn't pleasant. Overall the experience could have been better. The water was good lol. Heigene: the toilets were clean and so was the restaurant. Pictures attached below 👇👇 I hope the owner responds to this in a better manner. SUMMARY: it was fine. Not as bad as people say. 🤝

Oh, where to start. I love Georgian cuisine and hospitality and was so much looking forward to coming there. I was a bit worried after I read the reaction of the owner to someone’s not complimentary review but I thought everyone can have a bad day. But there seems to be a real issue with the owner’s attitude to his guests. I personally experienced it and I felt as if I came to his house uninvited and should be ashamed of my unreasonable expectations of food being served at the right temperature and on time and the dirty plates and glasses being taken away. The food was good enough albeit a bit different compared to the authentic meals you can find in Tbilisi: looked like most of the starters were the processed versions of the originals. However, what I will remember is a cold shashlik which I ate while other guests where still waiting for their course coming, the only waiter available for the entire restaurant who (no wonder) kept forgetting what he was asked, and the owner explaining in a raised voice to the guests why the main meal was not served on time and demanding to take it away and pay. With the entire menu having been pre-agreed way in advance, to find ourselves waiting for the main hot meal and then hearing from the waiter: “Did you order them?”, telling him not to worry about it as it was too late (given that we started at 7 pm and it was around 10 pm by then) and then finding a number of doggy-boxes with that hot meal at the counter waiting for payment, together with the side dish from the other course(!), which have also not been served on time or even mentioned to us - was a bit overwhelming. Some serious consideration should be given to the service and the attitude to guests.

(Translated by Google) I would like to share my impressions about the Mimino restaurant, which used to be the best until it moved. celebrated one event with a large team the restaurant did not serve part of the menu 😔 the kebab was served cold while one part of the guests ate the kebab the other half was waiting 🤤 and vice versa, the staff in the kitchen that day worked like the first time in the kitchen... the waiter-bartender does not understand at all what he is asked and does not know the assortment in the restaurant. Dirty plates on the table are cleaned by guests, the service is like in a common dining room😔 in a word, it’s possible to eat for 2-3 people, but if you celebrate corporate parties DN any mass events, the restaurant can’t cope at all, this is a very big minus, in short I don’t recommend it (((P.S. note for the owner of the establishment if your client made a remark to you about the service and organization of the holiday, you, as attendants, cannot and do not have the right to raise your voice to the client and deny your mistakes and your staff in other establishments called the restaurant asked for forgiveness 100 times and made a discount, but in non-raised tones proved that you are right. I also recommend that you and your staff go to a refresher course, this will be useful for you and customers will be more pleasant (Original)
