Visited for my friends birthday, the staff where amazing and welcoming, the atmosphere was great, however I must say I was a little disappointed with the food, I'm not really a steak person but since the prestige of a Miller and Carter drew me to getting one, I thought I would really enjoy it alas I did not, the others at my table got a sirloin, t bone, and ribeye, whereas I got the rump, the others at the table all said was theirs were amazing but I was just meh, the whole meal was meh and when we got the desert (I got the mango bomb) I found myself once again let down, since we got a discount I wasn't too bothered but if I had paid full price for a ok meal I would have been a little annoyed. Overall a enjoyable experience if not a little hit and miss with the food.

Absolutely disgusting service while in the restaurant. And said they would follow up the disgusting service and have now completely ignored things. Seriously consider other venues in St Albans before this place. Everything was terrible from the food to the service and there were only six people present in the whole of the restaurant. Please choose another place to eat this is absolute garbage

A terrible experience, only one other table in the whole of the restaurant. When my meal came it was inedible and also missing the balsamic tomato without any explanation. The steak was very very poor, the waitress arranged for a replacement, it came back without fries and the steak was extremely small but this time was edible. However the fries were missing and took an additional 7 minutes+ to arrive. No apologies were made and intact the staff ended up quite rude. A very bad day experience and terrible customer service considering there were only a total of six guests in the whole of the restaurant. I will not be dining here again. Further to the above review, I would just like to confirm there approach to assisting with this complaint was as good as the service received on that day. Definetely would consider the wide range of eateries in St Alban's before choosing this abomination.
