Honestly a pretty bad station. No step free access whatsoever, extremely limited seating and shelter, a service that at the current moment is every two hours in each direction (normally hourly) and not even a ticket machine! Just a permit to travel which, predictably, was broken. Unless you want to watch freight trains go by or get a half decent shot of the Port of Southampton, don't waste your time here. The local buses are better at providing a service to the Millbrook and Redbridge areas.
