Went there for an afternoon fishing whilst on a camping holiday. It's a very well presented fishery, beautifully kept with plenty of space for casting all around the lakes so no battles with the undergrowth untangling your flies and leader. A very warm and friendly grating from the owner and a nice chat as I set up. The fish are a good size and fight like hell on the hook. Conditions on the day were perfect, with a gentle breeze after a morning of rain, so the fish were on the feed. So much so that no sooner had I put my fly in the water, fish on! I think I'd hit my two fish kill limit in about six casts, but hey, things can go that way sometimes. I just managed to to find a pod of fish and picked the right colour fly on that occasion..
