What a fabulous place Mill Bridge Gallery, in Skipton, is! Lots of incredible talent. My talented friend exhibits her art in felt, but there’s lots more besides: fine art, photography and sculpture. It’s all housed in a beautiful building with a canal side garden. A must visit…

A lovely hidden gem of a gallery, 5 minutes from the Main Street in Skipton. Tucked in by the canal between a bar and a fabric shop. Jam packed with paintings, sculpture, prints and art objets.

Went to meet up with Sarah Roche, a leading Yorkshire Felt Artist, who has an Exhibition of her most recent Felt work at the Mill Bridge Gallery this weekend. Mill Bridge always has a large selection of new Yorkshire Artists & Artwork. The Gallery always has a great selection of Sculpture's, again by local Yorkshire Artists. Always worth a visit. The Owner, Carina Wardle, always has an exceptional grasp on up and coming new Artistic excellence.

One of Skipton’s special places. Mill Bridge is a beautiful little gallery in an old and beautiful building right by the canal - be sure to find its secret garden! The art is varied and interesting and featured artist shows change monthly so it’s always worth a visit. And you can always be sure of a warm welcome!

Mill Bridge Gallery sits within a small forecourt less than a minute’s walk from the market square in Skipton. The Gallery itself dates back to the 15th century & houses a diverse collection of high quality yet very affordable contemporary art on both floors: a delicious mix of paintings, ceramics, greeting cards, sculptures & jewellery that cater for all tastes. On the second floor you’ll find the exhibition room, which features some incredible works created predominantly by local artists. These exhibitions run for around four weeks at a time and are constant throughout the year. The Gallery staff are extremely helpful and exhibiting artists are frequently in the building on hand to talk about their work. If you’re interested in high quality art and planning to visit Skipton, Mill Bridge Gallery is definitely the place to go. Opening hours are 11.00 am til 4.00 pm every Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
