Went to collect package today, shop closed at 3pm, it was 5 past, but the teller was behind post office counter. The assistant came over and opened up so I could collect my goods. Excellent service from my local Post Office. Thank you 😊

Twice have been here and both times the man has tried to sell more expensive postage without asking. Second time the man was very rude. Recently posted a parcel and heard the man sell next day by 12 noon to the person in front when they didn't ask for it and questioned the price before just paying. I explicitly asked for the cheapest way to send my parcel, speed not a priority, no tracking, no insurance and the man came back with £11, next day delivery by 12, insured and tracked. I said I didn't want any of that and he asked me what is in the parcel, I hesitated very slightly and he got even more short with me and said "you have to tell me what's in there and the value". Told him "X and £50" continues to say it's £11 "because you want it insured", I said "I've said I explicitly DON'T want that twice now, what's the cheapest price?" ..."£5.35". Then he told me it will take a week, the receipt says 3 days. Reported to trading standards and complained to Royal mail. Edit: March 2023- Post office has now changed hands and the new people seem very nice.

Extremely upset with the customer service in the post office! tried to ask the man for help on what to do to return a package. Chose not to inform me but to try and humiliate me at every step instead when I couldn’t guess the process. He was rude, inpatient when I was writing address as my hands are slow with arthritis and looking down his nose at me there is no excuse however busy to treat customers like that!!!! if you fancy having your day ruined take a trip to Milford post office 😉🤣😑

Terrible. Avoid at all costs. Add every synonym for the word "slowest" together and that might just indicate the true speed of the service. There is almost a constant queue outside even when there is two members of staff. I have also been charged extra for insurance on high cost items automatically without being asked if I would like it. And for some reason their prices seem to be a lot more expensive than other post offices. I went in with a parcel asking for the cheapest way to send it and was given a very high price. I then went down the road to another Royal Mail post office and asked the same thing and they allowed me to send the item for a fraction of the price.
