Just got to say what a top professional service by Kristian and Robbie at Midlands Gun Services. At 6’ 8” tall I thought I’d struggle to ever find a true fit with my DT11 Black, but they were both spot on with a lot of attention to detail ensuring the lovely piece of Walnut I chose has fitted me perfectly. I shot my gun for the first time at the weekend with my new bespoke stock and the difference it’s made already is noticeable, just feel the more I’m using it the better my scores will get. Wonderful experience, probally one of the finest gun stockers in the UK, if not in Europe. Shot my Blaser Vantage at Churchils on the way back from picking up my gun. and the stock has transformed the gun in to a wand. Ruberto ex Perrazi did an amazing job, with measurements, best type of grip etc etc. I am glad I just shut up and let the experts work their magic. (Felt a bit like going to Savile row) Kristien ex Purdey, did an amazing job, with help choosing the wood, checkering and made the experience altogether truely great. Again I am glad I let the experts do their thing. Big thanks for David Izzards input, with pad and recoil system. Was also nice to meet H, supervising from his game boy., in close proximity to his 410" Truly werth the drive and it's nice to see the forward thinking of having an apprentice scheme. Above all, it gave me great pleasure to support a truely talented British family company. I should also mention it was a great learning experience that has helped tremendosley with my understanding of gun fit. To see all the hard work and skill required to transforming a block of Turkish wallnut in to a silk smoth highly polished, hand crafted, scultured precision stock. Seeing all the beautifully polished stocks and forends is a sight which will remain with me all my shooting life. Suffice to say a big thank you to all. Defenetly impressed with end result, so was Robert at Churchills.
