Words can't describe how bad our experience with midland heart was. If I talked about all the issues we had, I'd be here all day. So I'm just going to cover the main points. The property was old and substandard, and needed frequent repairs. The neighbourhood was unsafe with regular antisocial behaviour. Neighbours were threatening, abusive and involved with crime. Our tenancy was not kept up to date as far as I'm aware. Midland heart didn't handle complaints well. They got a lot of information mixed up and weren't very supportive. Again I can't go into details but we had to leave for safety reasons. This meant moving to a new area, disrupting our lives. The situation was completely avoidable, but they only offered support once I gave them notice. By then I was over it. The day I left I felt like a weight had been lifted, and my children are much happier too.

Absolute shambles of a company!! Would never have anything to do with them again!! Ruined the first experience of getting our first home and do nothing to help with snags just go around in circles and have to wait a month for replies on emails!! If there was a rating lower than 1 star Iā€™d put that!!

I was left without food and money after being told I was shortlisted. I made my way back from visiting family and spent double the tickets to get home sooner. I was set up a viewing and was ready to pay but they didn't receive my reference as a fault of my support worker. The man was on annual leave the next day so couldn't see it until Monday this took two weeks in total. I spent all my money and energy to not get a response when I visited the flat and clearly was desperate and did all I was asked and gave all the appropriate documents punctually. I have PTSD, anxiety, ADHD and depression this has made me suffer considerably over a two week period where I was told multiple things. Not just mentally but I did go without a week's shop for food. I was very upset and sad. Not angry just hopeless I worked as hard as I could to meet what midland heart asked I met it and suffered? That's awful. I hope this improves. I'm happy for those who are doing well and only pray I can have the same.
