I hate leaving this review, but I simply can't understand Midland Damp Doctor's business practice. I realise that they are a small family company, but they rarely answer the phone and take days (or weeks) to respond to online messages or emails. I eventually spoke to Thomas and, since he seemed both pleasant and knowledgeable, I decided to use the company to carry out about £2000 worth of work. Cue complete silence - no response to messages and apparently no interest in actually taking on the work or communicating further. I liked the idea of using a local company and their lifetime guarantee sounds great - but that's really not worth a great deal if I'll never be able to get hold of them in the future. Midland Damp Doctor may or may not do excellent work - sadly, because of the way the company is run, I will never actually find out.

Tom assessed the damp at my daughter and recommended a PIV. It removes condensation from your house. The house was damp with really poor condensation. The PIV equipment has solved it all!! It exceeded all expectations. Thank you Tom!

He is knowledgable, honest and explained all the points in the survey before recommending the unit. He did this remotely while I could not be at the house myself and he kept me informed of his progress via whats app, sending me photos of the completed installation. Called Midlands Damp Doctor as I had issues with rising damp. Tom is a top bloke, honestly couldn’t have found anyone better in my opinion. He explained all the steps and was always punctual. His team stripped out the old kitchen, completed the damp course, and left the walls all prepped and ready for the new kitchen. Really happy with the work carried out. Thank you

Tom and Gary were both very helpful, friendly and informative. During the course of the main job (damp proof course) several other issues were discovered and the team just got on and did those as well. Tom is very knowledgeable on the subject of all things damp related and I felt very well informed throughout the process. They were able to recommend other tradespeople to do related jobs as well.

I was looking for someone to have a look at the damping issue and found Tom and his team on the internet. I ended it using them to renovate my bedroom as well. From skimming to plastering, wiring etc ,Tom and Gary did most the and finished it a high quality. There are many trademen but a lot of them are not trustful. Especially when they found out you don't know anything. I can trust Tom and his team, leave most of jobs to them. They also came back to me with small issues I had around the house without charging me. I will use them again once I have more budget to work around the house but overrall it is very good experinece.
