Really enjoyable experience for myself and my two teenage girls. The presentation was a 'spooky' theme with it being close to Halloween. Halloween is definitely NOT our thing, but actually the presentation was still very interesting and the theme in no way distracted from the subject of fascinating stars, planets and constellations. The two hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. The session was interactive with the opportunity to ask questions. We went during the day, so we only spent time in the planetarium and not the Observatory, but I would love to return on a night time event to experience this too. The place has free parking, is wheelchair accessible and is based in beautiful large gardens.

We visited the Observatory & planetarium this week for the “creepy cosmos” show. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Chris & Martin are extremely knowledgeable and engaged the audience and answered any questions we had. We also had a fantastic experience viewing the night sky the following evening- amazing views of Saturn & Jupiter! Highly recommended. Our 14 year old daughter said she wished her science lessons were this interesting!!

What a great evening! Hugely enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides to the universe! The all-new planetarium means this is a terrific place to see the stars whatever the weather.
