It was so lovely to see such a magnificent home up close. Although not open today I still really enjoyed the views I had, I’ll be attending an open day. It’s such an old building, as is the barn or Courtyard buildings. Coming from Australia the age of buildings in the UK is amazing! Cost in £9.00

Visited on a car show day £8 used rhs to get one in free (House ,car show ,gardens ) Nice selection of new and old cars which pleased other half .The house is very interesting staff are polite and very helpful especially Daniel in the walled garden he seen me reading the sign about the heated walls and stopped to give me a very interesting talk on the walled garden . It is obvious this place would not look like it does today without the help of a lot of people especially volunteers .With lots of help and support it could be even more interesting . Well worth supporting ,by a visit and a parking donation .Very small plant selection on sale (cannot resist a plant to remember my day out and help support places like this .) Nice courtyard with few shops and cafe coffee was good £10 for coffee ,tea and shared a toasted sandwich pleasant music played by man on a piano on lovely sunny May Day .
