The waiting room is 1 wobbly old office chair in a cold corridor next to the front door. I wouldn't be impressed if id just had a baby and these were the facilities for registration.

This service is an absolute joke. I ordered a replacement certificate on the 1st of August and I am still waiting for it to arrive! Imagine if you needed it for a passport to go somewhere!

Went to register my uncles death - the registrar was lovely, very kind and thoughtful whilst still being efficient to get the process done. We were seen at our allotted time, didn’t have to wait. When I rang to make the appointment, the receptionist was helpful and considerate.

Held my wedding ceremony here, the ladies that work there are so amazing, they were all polite and lovely and made me feel so at ease, as 1 it was my wedding day and 2 my grandad who was giving me away, had not arrived on time, the registrar allowed me extra time and was so supportive, I made the choice to continue and have my mum walk me down the isle, the ceremony was beautiful. After signing my grandad arrived and the registrar allowed my grandad to walk me down the isle, she was so lovely and I thank them that they allowed me to have these memories. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to marry in a registry office to come here,

I wish I could give zero stars after receiving an email requesting me to fill in a ‘customer satisfaction survey’ three days after registering my beloved mum’s passing. Our family members are not customers, we are a family mourning the loss of our dearest mum, grandma, sister, wife. Imagine how my dad would have felt if he’d given his email address and seen it. Don’t spout ‘automated systems’ or any of that nonsense. Someone is responsible for writing the software and administration. Whoever it was needs to know how upset and disgusted my sisters and I are after this thoughtless and callous email. SORT IT SO NOBODY ELSE GETS ONE!!!!

Extremely unhelpful. Speechlessly rude, utterly unpleasant, absolutely bizarre, arrogant and deluded.

Met a lovely registrar today. Very sympathetic and efficient. Couldn't have wished for a nicer lady.
