My daughter who currently lives with me is due to give birth in 4 weeks time. Our property has black mold, mostly in her room (where the baby will also be sleeping) which I reported god knows how many months ago. Eventually someone came out and advised a professional treatment was required. Since then I have made multiple phone calls to arrange the treatment. I have requested a call back from a manager twice in the last week and STILL have not heard anything! They apparently are fine with a pregnant woman and a newborn baby breathing that toxicity in!! I have no idea whether it is worth me attempting to clean it again myself as the expert said it needs treating by them. I am disgusted and furious and am close to paying for a professional treatment and taking them to court for the bill.

If I could give 0 stars I would, moved from IBC to mid suffolk a year ago house is not fit to live in, happy to take rent payments but not solve any of the issues, leaking rotting roof, crumbling moldy ceiling.. rents gone up but services are the worse I've ever had to deal with no way of communicating with higher staff members.. customer service team always has an excuse for why they can't put you through. It's a shambles, my housing association 6 years ago was better! and that's saying something. Honestly if you do view a home in mid suffolk then make sure you have thousands to spend on essential repairs.

Went to the Stowmarket recycle centre with some cardboard on Christmas Eve and didn’t realise that you had to book still. The staff told me I could not deposit the cardboard and had to book. There was nobody in there and when I questioned it, I was told it didn’t matter I still had to book. Just rude and totally pointless staff. Merry Christmas.

If I could give half a star I would and that is being nice. Don't come out too repair anything or respond in a timely fashion in fact they don't like doing anything apart from taking money for rent and ignoring every other issue you report. Absolute disgrace this Council

Incompetent, indifferent and lazy. Poor or non-existent communication. They don't return your calls, they don't reply to emails. If you do ever speak to anyone, they don't keep their promises. They don't follow their own rules or procedures. They are completely useless and nobody seems to care.

Is it mid suffolk or is it Babergh? Moving to Suffolk was made stressful by the poor communication of the website. Letters recieved did not communicate which council one was in. From here it took days to work out as the website was down regularly. More often than not, when trying to set up the direct debit or check account "you recieved a problem" occurs. Poor communication on an incredibly laborious and complex website. I am fairly young and found this website confusing to work, dread to imagine how less tech savvy people have faired.

Terrible service. Recently moved to the area, was swiftly contacted by the council to pay the additional fee for garden waste collection (brown bin). So far every single collection has been missed. This is my third time reporting the issue via their website. I then have to leave my brown bin out for days on end until they decide to collect it. Called in today to see what was going on, unhelpful and condescending woman stated there weren’t any missed collections on my account..... baffled, given I have reference numbers for all three reported missed collections. Customer service is absolute zero and I suspect won’t improve. I shall see out the year of my subscription, undoubtedly having to continue to report each missed collection each fortnight, and next year will save myself the money on this awful service and take my own garden waste to the tip instead.
