Nice club. Membership requirements you to pay a sign up fee . Which I believe is excessive. The staff keeps it looking nice. Loads of temporary greens and tees in the winter (Like most clubs). staff are nice. Some of the members are not. Hence the 4

Absolutely outrageous that a HUGE piece of land that could be utilised for families, children and young people as a park is instead barred off and hoarded as an elite golf club. There’s so many new apartments/homes in Gravesend end now but the green spaces are little to nothing. Having walked to the city centre from nursery grove a few times, now, I’m so disgusted how this enormous space is being selfishly kept by the few. I know it’s probably a social place for many in the Kent area, but for a lot of people who actually live ON THIS ROAD it’s an incredibly large green space that could actually benefit those who need it. I can’t tell you how many kids I see at the local shops near this space just loitering around after school, can’t help but think if they had a nice park to go to it would benefit them and their mental health. I live in Tutton House and I see so many kids playing behind it, literally in the middle of the car park bless them. That’s why I think it’s out of order that the councils approved all these new builds/apartments yet there’s hardly any green spaces apart from the cycle place near the motorway (not accessible for children) I don’t even have kids yet but I can see how limited families probably are - if you aren’t willing to drive somewhere you won’t find a park nearby. It’s insane because most people move out of London for greenery - but the nearest biggest green space to me is occupied by a silly golf course! You’ll only know the scope of how huge this space is if you’ve walked beside it, even half of it could be a decent size communal area where different peoples can walk in and experience. I will be making a petition towards this as I believe this is an outdated place for a small group of people - and the actual residents of Gravesend need at least one nice park!
