DO NOT BUY HERE!! Bought dressed crab today. We picked the larger one and even chatted to the staff saying wanted to get more later in the week only to find when got home that the shell had been filled with crab legs and just a spoonful of meat pressed over the top to give the impression of a large dressed crab . Total cheat .

Used this place twice now only to give the benefit of doubt.. every body can have a bad experience but always try again, cannot bad mouth the staff they are excellent, ive even tried the prawns here and are tasty... but its a total different matter regarding the bags of claws, last time they where watery and mushy, but hey ho try again, you get roughly about a 10/12 count all different sizes but the first thing i notices it how much water was in the bag after i got back home an hour later.. you dont mind a bit of moisture but these again was just watery mush and not worth £12, ive had some beautiful tasting claws from Bridlington/Cornwall/whitby. I suggest you try them yourself before selling them. Dont waste your money.

Spent a short break in Scarborough over the last few days and bought X2 8.50 crabs to bring back home with us, wished I had gone elsewhere I have never tasted crab like the ones we purchased, they were vile and barely any meat in them, they were packed out with crab legs then they piled the meat on top making it looked like they were packed with meat, Shocking

We bought a lobster for £15 yesterday as my husband eats seafood all the time and is an expert and food critique, we went for a few days to filey, he was very disappointed as the lobster was stringy and rubbery and he has never tasted lobster like this before , we decided to go and give feedback with no intention of a refund, however the lady who served him became rude so we asked for her name and the owners number politely, we rang and spoke to ros who apologised and said maybe it was overcooked by herself that morning and that lobster was expensive and herself would query if something was not right and offered us to bring the remains back for a full refund no guestion asked We had thrown a rubbish bag in the bin so as a principle, we went back to filey took it out off the bin with the remains and returned it, becky took photos and sent them to ros who offered us no refund as it wasn't the full lobster ,what a disgrace for what we thought a decent business , however not the case in these times and business just getting back on track we are very disappointed in how we were treated so they made a huge mistake today from a professional food critique
