I worked for this man many years ago through an employment agency. He threw paperwork at me and made his secretary cry. He was disdainful to the female admin staff but respectful to a male surveyor who worked for him. I left after a week, it just wasn't worth it

Michael has done 2 property surveys for me in the past. On both occasions he has produced accurate, detailed and high quality reports. These were accompanied by a large number of colour images. Follow up calls were very helpful in clarifying particular technicalities. He has a busy practice, which to me indicates that his work is highly regarded and generates a good reputation. I would have no qualms about instructing him in future.

Michael's phone manner is outrageously rude. He cancelled our first survey slot the day before because it was very hot (the hottest day of the year). This meant the survey was later and I had my phone consultation whilst he was on holiday. He initially said he didn't have the full report to reference on the call, then he found it on the back seat of his car. I get the timing was bad and he did respond on holiday but, it was really a bizarre and unprofessional experience. There were a few copy and pasta errors in the report too eg the front door he talked about was the wrong material. His wife who runs the office in contrast was thoroughly nice, calm and professional.
