What is your experience and qualifications as a swimming instructor?
We are a team of experienced and highly qualified swimming instructors at the Michael Jamieson Swim Academy. Our instructors have a minimum of Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification and extensive experience in teaching individuals of all ages and abilities. We also have former Olympic swimmer Michael Jamieson as our head coach, who brings his wealth of experience and knowledge to our team.How do you personalize your swim lessons to meet the individual needs of your students?

We understand that sometimes circumstances change and you may need to cancel your swimming lesson. If you need to cancel a lesson, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours' notice. If you provide us with at least 24 hours' notice, we will do our best to arrange a make-up lesson for you. If you are unable to attend the make-up lesson or do not provide us with at least 24 hours' notice, we will not be able to offer a refund for the cancelled lesson.Reviews

My daughter has been swimming with MJSA since around June last year. She has always liked the water but lacked confidence. Having only 4 people in her class has been amazing and her confidence and swimming skills in such a short period of time have been amazing. Caleb her instructor knows her wee quirks and how to get her to do things she is unsure of. She trusts him so much which is amazing. I’m always recommending them to friends. We can’t wait to continue our swimming journey with them (Caleb don’t ever leave lol).

My daughter lacked swimming confidence due to an experience at a previous swimming group. After her first lesson at MJSA I could see she was more positive again and this has only progressed over the course of her lessons, resulting in her advancing through the stages quicker than anticipated. All the coaches and staff have been encouraging and supportive throughout and, although the children are in a group, each child gets individualised support. Information is communicated effectively and queries responded to efficiently. Thank you MJSA

My son has been learning swimming with MJ Swim Academy for over a year now, from screaming to get into the water to confidently swim with the support of floats now, he couldn't have achieved this far without the help of his teacher Lauren and Molly. A special thanks also goes to Sonn who is always there for him when he's having moments with the water, and always encourage him to swim better. Thanks to the whole team in Glasgow Uni venue who are all very supportive and kind, I'm very lucky and grateful to have my son learning swimming in such a professional and lovely environment, looking forward to his next step, highly recommend this dream team :)

My son has been with Michael Jamieson swimming for over a year now and he loves it. The water confidence he has from attending is amazing to see. The management are very accommodating to help if any problems. The Instructors are great, they take time with the children and explain about the importance breathing, stroke etc. I would highly recommend thus company for swimming lessons.

My daughter loves swimming and attends both the classes at St Kents and Hamilton College. Class sizes are no more than 6. The coaches have been excellent with her and she is progressing through the various stages successfully. I would highly recommend Michael Jamieson Swim Academy if you are looking for a fun place for your kids to learn to swim.
