My mum was in MHA Sandygate up untill her death .My dad and myself visited every other day for approx 3 years. All I can say is that she recieved exceptional care and love from all members of staff. Her room was clean and we were encouraged to make it as homely as possible for her.It became like a second family to myself and dad. We were kept updated every step of the way and if there was a small problem, which was not very often ,we spoke to the staff who rectified it immediately.I have not a bad word to say about this place and hope if I ever have to be cared for ,that its here.Iv had other family members and friends in other care homes in the area and they were not a patch on MHA Sandygate.

I work for an agency and did a last minute 12 hour shift recently here. It's the best home by far I have worked in. The staff are so friendly and compassionate. The residents are all so happy and well looked after. Was a pleasure to work with such amazing people. I will be looking out for future vacancies here for sure.

I had parent here for two week respite break. She had no shower or bath in two weeks and lost half stone in weight, when she fell and fractured hip we were not told she had been taken to hospital and only were told when we arrived to visit her at the home that she was not there. Awful experience.
