Mark and his team are all excellent mechanics. I really appreciated the high standard of work done on my MGTF, replacement of the CHG, Water pump, thermostat. Head skim and rebuild of the VVC has made a remarkable difference to the car. There is a weath of skills and knowledge over and above the I have experienced at main dealerships recently. The workshop was meticulously clean and I was kept informed throughout the whole process. The last time the CHG was changed was part of the deal with an independent MG dealership, it never ran as well then as it does now! Thanks for your help and knowledge. If you have an older MG, then this is the place to come if you want the job doing properly and honestly.

Used a fair sound of times with my rover 25 1.4 replacement Inlet manifold and my Dad's rover 75 1.8t with the gasket failures! Both now sadly at the scrap yard but always had good service here.

Fantastic service as always. The workshop can always be counted upon when something with your car goes wrong. In this case a new battery was required and fitted in a jiffy. Cheers

Classic cars have been in my family for many years, however, I am new to owning one; a beautiful, glacier blue, 1500cc MGA. The bodywork was "straight out of the box" but the engine was a little ropey, to say the least. Having joined MGOC, I made a call to the sales / parts department and spoke to Ian Wells, and, so the story begins. In this day and age, we are used to multiple 'phone options and mediocre to poor customer service, spending hours on the 'phone trying to put right the problems and errors made in the previous call. What sheer and absolute pleasure to have a proper human being on the 'phone, who discussed and explained my options, imparting his knowledge and expertise to a complete novice. Anyway and in short, over the past few months, I have had an engine rebuild, a completely new water cooling system and various other bits and bobs and at all stages of the process, I was kept informed of progress with a quick call from Ian. Parts were dispatched to the garage I was using and on many occasions, Ian communicated directly with the garage over anything deemed too "technical" for "the newcomer". I understand from Ian that Adam (Ian's colleague) actually took my sump home and painted it in his own time, so as to speed up the delivery process to the garage. Thank you Adam. I would also like to thank Roger (technical dept) who seriously knows his stuff. At a guess, everyone knows Roger as he appears to be the "go to" for problems. To sum this all up: an absolutely brilliant experience. A special thanks must go to Ian for all his assistance. Regards, Leo

What a lovely hotel this is. They even put us a picnic up for our day out. Such a shame the bathroom smelt like kippers.
