Poor experience with this law firm that does not actually have any employees. Every single "Partner" and "Senior Legal Consultant" at the firm is a self-employed individual. When I contacted them about my case, I did not receive any response and had to chase them up several times. Then afterwards I received responses from three different lawyers all claiming to be an expert and each of them gave me three different quotes! It seems like each lawyer is competing against another for work and fees. When I asked one of these lawyers a basic legal question they could not answer it and told me "I would need to get back to you on that" and then never did get back to me! Then the same thing happened with another lawyer who didn't know some basic questions about legislation in their field (that they claimed to be an expert in) and then wanted payment of fees first before answering any simple questions (why would I do that if you can't demonstrate your expertise?). On their website they say that they have targeted and chosen the best lawyers all over the UK - this appears to be very misleading as none of the lawyers are employed, they are are clearly competing against each other for work and fees and it seems to be that they will take on any self-employed lawyer who is willing to bring in fees. I didn't find them to be client-centric or caring at all, but rather obnoxious and weird. Maybe there's a reason why traditional law firms are far more common than these other types that club a bunch of self-employed lawyers together and label them as Partners (even though they aren't) and call themselves experts (doubtful). Based on the experience I had with them, I would not recommend them at all.
