I have had nothing but fantastic experiences with this company. The leather itself is easily the best I've used and their service puts other big leather supplies/tanneries to shame. In my most recent order was a lamport double butt that had a large blemish up the middle (never had a issue with anything like this before). I contacted metropolitan leather and was passed on to gent named Stuart. Within 24 hours he had dispatched a new piece out to me and arranged for the other to be collected at the same time. Just wow. A sign of a truly great company is not what kind of service you get while purchasing it's what kind of service you get when something goes wrong and the service was 5*. Strongly reccomend.

I went along to their Open Week-End. The stock level was amazing, I didn't ask but I bet all in their brochure could be supplied off the shelf. I was made to feel welcomed by all the staff who are so friendly and helpful particularly Richard and Adrian. Well worth a visit. Since writing this, I had a delivery problem that was dealt with promptly and very efficiently. I highly recommend this company.

Decent quality leather and consistency, while being a little on the expensive end for what you get. However, their other products (dyes, tools) are own brand and for some reason *incredibly* overpriced for what they are. If you're using these guys, just stick to buying the hide itself. Also, who doesn't include tax in online shopping now, it's 2020 last time I checked.

I purchased the vegetable tan split leather for the brilliant price of £15. I am a student and working with genuine leather is usually very expensive, the customer service and products from this company brilliant quality and products such as the split leather are very affordable for students. If I am in need of leather for a future project, this company will be my first port of call.
