Further to my review of last year (see below), we once again booked one of the excellent rooms at The Metropolitan and the service was even better this time. The buffet food was top notch and we must give special thanks to our host Vicky and I believe her helper, Cara, behind the bar. They both made a special family gathering an even nicer occasion than it might otherwise have been. This review posted May 2022: The Lounge area was booked at very short notice for a small family gathering. Excellent choice of buffet food was served fresh and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the Metropolitan staff. They also went out of their way to cater for a couple of gluten intolerant guests. Faultless.
