    Amazing Birthday weekend at this beautiful accommodation, everything you need ,spacious ,Country walks heated swimming pool , it even boasts its own pub and games room .

    Brilliant place. So much space and facilities (e.g. pub with pool table etc, several lounges and kitchens, amazing grounds and options to book activities). Very clean. Comfy beds. Only a little bit of critique... I was shocked you have to bring your own towels — I've only ever encountered that in hostels (!) and it's so inconvenient if you want to shower the morning you're leaving and have to somehow pack a wet towel. Also it says they provide shampoo and shower gel but I'd recommend taking your own — v obvious they'd filled it with the cheapest option possible. Would expect more by way of towels and toiletries for the price.

    Have stayed 3 three times now. Lovely property, lovely grounds, lovely countryside all around. A historic house fully equipped with all mod cons, it even has it own pub. Lovely owners, nothing is too much trouble.

    Wow, just returned from the most amazing weekend at Merrieweathers with friends for my belated 40th. Everyone was completely blown away by the stables/hayloft accommodation, living areas and all the facilities on offer. We fully took advantage of the heated pool, tennis court and of course the pub. A game of darts or pool went down a treat whilst watching the football on the big screen. The courtyard with its large seating area was also a perfect place to socialise with friends. We had a lovely 3 course dinner and BBQ provided by Bay Tree Foods. My husband also organised Knights cocktail bar for us and an amazing singer to finish off the most perfect day. This is simply the best place we’ve stayed and we cannot wait to return.

    From the first phone call to our last email Theresa could not have been anymore helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble and she helped us organise the most incredible Lamb spit roast with a local farmer for a birthday lunch (we highly recommend!!!) The house and facilities are absolutely incredible and with two small babies it meant we had everything we needed without having to leave. The outdoor pool was so warm we could enjoy it even though it wasn’t too hot. The cinema screen, table tennis, pub, beautiful tennis courts, boating lake meant we always had something to do and the whole family had so much fun. We are already dreaming of our next visit!
