Despite an initial problem, in the end, I had a great experience. Point being, it's how issues are handled that make a place worth coming back to. Thanks to Olivia's (and James') professional yet warm attention, I can honestly say I ended up being fully satisfied of the service provided. This was initially a bad review, that I edited with pleasure to reflect that effort was put into changing my perspective.

As expected the service department failed to impress yet agian, I very rarely complain about anything but on this occasion i feel that I have to. Although this time their fault was rightly rectified, no means of compensation was discussed regarding the possible damage to my gear box, the inconvenience of my day that was lost travel and other expenses or worst of all the damage to my drive! I cant get the oil off my paved drive so it now looks awful. When I pay so much money for the service plan I only expect for the work to be carried out correctly. I dont expect all this hassle and cost. When the service rep told me that it turns out that the gasket was not put on properly after a gearbox oil change (so that's why oil has leaked from the gearbox all over my paved drive) not once was there an apology never mind any offer of a bit of compensation. 3 times now my service has not been carried out correctly at York. It simply is not good enough. Like I say I pay into the service plan, I really wish I had not bothered and maybe taken it to a garage that take pride in their work. I could say loads more and believe me I am very close to doing so as I have now asked for them to contact me 3 times and had no success. UPDATE... I have now been contacted directly by a service manager called Liam who has sent his sincere apologies and aims to rectify this situation. I can say he really has come across very professional, and I am now in high hopes that I will be updating this review in the near future to state that mistakes happen and Mercedes-Benz have now gone above and beyond. I have proposed a resolution that I believe would cost Mercedes-Benz very little other than time and inconvenience. Liam is enquiring to see if it is possible as it involves their sales department. He aims to try his best and get back to me ASAP.

Great customer service! Jadeane was excellent and made the process of purchasing my new car so easy. She listened to everything that I wanted the car to have and went above and beyond to find me the right car. The handover was smooth especially with part exchanging my vehicle and she made sure any questions I had were answered. I can’t recommend Jadeane and Mercedes York enough!
