Well...the rating is 5 for the service I’ve had from MB Swindon. My views on MB convertibles are slightly different as I have now had two and both roofs have failed. The first I traded in 2 years ago cost me £000’s to replace as the hydraulics failed. The one I traded it in for also failed 6 weeks after the 3 year warranty expired!! The price quoted to fix this was in excess of £3k!! However, having taken it back both Ben and Denise were empathetic to the situation, understood my frustration and said they would put a business case to MB HO on my behalf. Fortunately MB HO were also empathetic and agreed that I only had to pay 10 % of the cost.....phew!! It has made me think twice about whether I’d want another MB convertible! However the service I received from Ben and subsequently Denise was outstanding. Ben originally put the case forward to HO and then Denise was absolutely fantastic and professional in keeping me informed, getting the car booked in and keeping me up to date with progress. Thank you. Unfortunately MB, (and Mike Fellows who I had the pleasure of meeting when my first roof failed) I have now had two convertibles whose roofs have both cost me considerably but the service received from Denise in particular has been outstanding. Would I buy another MB convertible ??? The jury is out. Thank you Denise and Ben.
