    Lost for words . Came to Chelmsford as the continual mistakes and poor service at Bishops Stortford was endless thinking this branch at Chelmsford and its promotion on their phone recording of customer journey and customer satisfaction was for me only to find a new level of dissatisfaction and utter contempt for the customer . No call back when the vehicle ran into an overnight stay , bolts missing from the underside of the vehicle on return and warranty work half completed . It took an independent local mechanic to explain and show me this when being checked today on his ramp . Called Chelmsford to politely register a complaint , put through to a voicemail after 30 minutes on hold ... tried the live chat ... so polite but who needs a typed conversation and they wont phone you to discuss ...oh Chelmsford you have surpassed yourselves with sloppy customer service . Still its only an £80k car , perhaps you need to spend more to get the customer service as advertised ?

    I’ve had a couple of encounters with the service team at Mercedes Benz Chelmsford, every one has been negative. Both occasions they have had my vehicle I have been told I will receive an update call in the afternoon, both times I’ve had to call at 5pm to be told my car was waiting for collection! On my recent visit my key was just given back to me, with no communication at all, not even all the work has been completed today. Terrible service, my cars work was under warranty however this is no excuse for the poor service provided.

    Having already dealt with Sam in purchasing my wife's vehicle last month, his levels of customer service exceeded our expectations again with regular updates being provided throughout the whole process from the valuation of my old car, order and delivery of my new vehicle. Sam even contacted me during his annual leave periods providing various updates going above and beyond!. Nothing was too much of a problem for him! Sam's levels of communication and dedication to providing a first class customer experience far exceed anything I have experienced in the past. I would also like to compliment Tim Prentice, also of Chelmsford Mercedes for his level of customer service on the day of collection. Tim made the handover process a very seamless and enjoyable one. Great team!

    If I could rate zero stars I would!! Unbelievable poor service and feel very let down, following my previous review and a promise someone would contact me regarding my previous complaint unbelievably this has just now happened Before Christmas, reported to Mercedes, my vehicle which is supposed to have been quality checked before I collected, developed faults, the 12v phone charging point ceased working or never worked ( attempted to charge my phone and nothing happened) the eco start stop stopped working, then the call button on my steering wheel ceased working followed shortly after with the control buttons beneath the media screen completely stopped working then the media screen/sat nav and radio stopped working. Also to add the washer bottle short circuit meant I couldn’t clean the windows whilst driving! I booked my car in early December for the works to be carried out only to be told that a courtesy car would be needed for 3 days to carry the works out booked for 06/01, so they had my car ( only purchased in September) full price paid, I was informed they could not repair the car at this time as a new head unit would be required did I want to collect my car as they need the hire vehicle back, without the ability to clean my windscreen in winter , the car was booked in for today 10/02 for the new head unit which Mercedes assured me will be in within 5 days on the 06/01!!! So took my car this morning after receiving texts saying don’t forget your booking from Mercedes only to find out the part has not arrived!! I work in construction as a senior site manager looking after several zones and the need of call facilities hands free and sat navigating is essential, I will add Leigh was trying to be helpful and not her fault, but Joe who had booked the work on the 06/01 looks to have made a complete mess of things, as per my last review Mercedes Boreham lied to me and did not apologise, rectified my washer bottle pump but did not bother to add any washer fluid until I had to ask, now I have been told my part to make my car road worthy will not be available until July!! I thought a reputable premium company I would receive at least a car I can use a service I could trust and above all common courtesy if anyone from Mercedes would like to contact me I would be grateful before I post on other media platforms that would be a good start equally anyone wishing to contact me feel free for an honest opinion, I will post a further update if Mercedes decide to contact me. Just one more note when I purchased the vehicle I asked for 2 rear tyres to be changed ( mentioned on my last post) which did finally happen but I took photos and gave dimensions of the tyres before they fitted the tyres and then when I collected my vehicle iI find they fitted the wrong size!! NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER I have emailed customer service at Mercedes today asking for them to contact me so until. Then I will hold off any further posts on here or other social media platforms Please get in touch Mercedes would be good to talk

    Gone in there to service my car for a better service. Got back a damaged car with the engine light on p24c600 code the temperature sensor in the soot has an electrical fault I complained to the manager about the scratch They told me will investigate and give me an answer the day after. Nobody called me or emailed me The day after the engine light came on. I have called them about the issue. The told to me the earliest booking will be at the end of June. They don’t take responsibility of what damage they do to the Customers car They just collect the money. No responsibility.

    nice staff however some of the items listed on the service were not carried out. No care was taken over protecting the interior and dirty foot and handprints were left all over it.
